Our Yarrowhead Farms Market

In 2020, as the world shifted and public gathering places were in limbo, we at Yarrowhead Farms came to understand two important factors: the business model we started with was about to change dramatically; and, the world is exponentially in need of more community farm markets. 

The summer of 2020 ignited the idea for Yarrowhead Farms to expand to its own market. As details like location and timing fell into place, by mid-September, Yarrowhead Farms Market was open for business. For over a year, it has morphed into what it is today -- an organic grocery store -- that has the tendencies and charm similar to that of an old fashioned general store. Local residents have healthier options available for everyday things such as pantry items and staple goods, but there are aspects for travelers and passersby that quickly become souveniristic. With an array of local artists, bakers, craftsmen and other vendors, it has become what many patrons like to refer to as "a hidden gem."
